TextureMC has reached the end of its life

The pack editor & signup have been disabled, but feel free to still download your packs and edit them using different services or try it yourself (I highly recommend using blockbench for its pixel art editor)

I am a solo developer and to be honest, I don't have any motivation to keep working on this project, and not much time either. The server computing power (and especially server space) is too expensive for me to keep running, especially as a high school student going off to college in the coming months. Minecraft used to be so special to be, but now I don't play it anymore and I've moved to other games and larger projects.

Although I could hand this off to another developer to work on it, I don't think it would be worth it. The codebase is terrible because I made this so long ago, as one of my first projects, and I don't trust anybody else with y'alls data. (I will make sure to delete all of it before shutting down the server)

I will be shutting down the server and deleting everything on July 31st, 2025, so please make sure to download your packs before then.

You can use the content you created using texturemc.com for any purpose, commercial or not. texturemc.com does not hold any right on the content created using this service.

Content Creation

Texturemc.com is also not responsible for any of the content you create and save on your account. You are responsible for the material created and any harm resulting from that content. By creating content, you represent and warrant that:

You must be over the age of 13 to use texturemc.com without permission from a parent or guardian.
That you are the owner and have full permission of the content you are uploading OR You have satisfied any third-party licenses or copyright policies bound to the content.
Content can not be offensive, pornographic, threatening, or violate our terms and conditions and/or privacy policy.

We reserve the right to remove any content uploaded without notice. This is likely if you do not follow the rules above.

Changes

We reserve the right to modify or replace these terms or privacy policy at any time. If a revision is material is made, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to the new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

Collection

The data we collect is required for you to access your content in the future. This includes:

Your email, username, and password
Any texture packs, textures, or other content that have been created or uploaded.

Storage

Your email, username, and password are stored in a self-hosted database. The passwords are encrypted using SHA-256. The email and username is not. Your texture packs are stored in a separate MongoDB database without any encryption.

Usage

This data is used to display your username on your profile. The email is used to verify your account and send other important notifications. No data is not shared with any third party. Your data is stored until you delete the content (if available) or delete your account.

Cookie Policy

Strictly essential first-party cookies are used to keep you logged in during your session, and are removed up to an hour after you exit the website. If you disable or remove these cookies, you may be unable to sign up, log in, or use texturemc.com.
